Safiur Rahman Mubarakpuri (1942–2006) was a prominent Islamic scholar, historian, and author, best known for his widely acclaimed work, Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum (The Sealed Nectar), which is a biography of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Born in Mubarakpur, a small village in the Azamgarh district of Uttar Pradesh, India, he was deeply influenced by Islamic scholarship from a young age.
